The  Legion of Mary is a small apostolic group and we function in our parish  with the kind permission and encouragement of our Parish Priest Father Shane Kelleher.

We Carry out our duties, going out two at a time in the tradition of the Apostles.

Our work  includes circulating the Rosary Statue of Our Lady, to local homes to  encourage families to pray the most Holy Rosary. Delivering baptismal  certificates to the parents of recently baptised babies. Also home  visitations to the sick and bereaved in our parish.

We also  visit a local retirement/nursing home, to hopefully cheer up the  residents who often feel abandoned by their family members or society as  a whole.

We  currently have five active members and forty auxiliary members, and all  of the work we undertake is offered to Jesus through Mary. Membership is  open to all adults, men and women, eighteen years of age or over. We  meet each Monday night at 7:45pm in the church meeting rooms.
